History of Graphics - Renaissance Art

This was a renaissance recreation of Frank Cadogan Cowper's Art called "Vanity". I was looking for renaissance art of beautiful women, Mona Lisa was too common so I looked for other paintings and found this one. At first, I thought she had her eyes closed but when I read an article about it she was shifting her eyes toward the hand mirror in her left hand and sneaking glances at herself. 'She appears very well-pleased with herself and captivated by her own beauty. The sneaky aspect of her side-glance also insinuates how the woman can’t take her eyes off of herself, not even for a moment.' - says in the article.

I was having trouble being productive for a while now so I forced myself to do them today. I instantly regretted picking this piece because it had so much detail but I was already half way through so there was no turning back. I managed to finish this in ONE DAY! Surprising, I know!
