History of Graphics - Renaissance Art

This was a renaissance recreation of Frank Cadogan Cowper's Art called "Vanity". I was looking for renaissance art of beautiful women, Mona Lisa was too common so I looked for other paintings and found this one. At first, I thought she had her eyes closed but when I read an article about it she was shifting her eyes toward the hand mirror in her left hand and sneaking glances at herself. 'She appears very well-pleased with herself and captivated by her own beauty. The sneaky aspect of her side-glance also insinuates how the woman can’t take her eyes off of herself, not even for a moment.' - says in the article. I was having trouble being productive for a while now so I forced myself to do them today. I instantly regretted picking this piece because it had so much detail but I was already half way through so there was no turning back. I managed to finish this in ONE DAY! Surprising, I know! History of Graphics - Arts & Crafts

Arts & Crafts!! Something I haven't done in a while. I used to have a tool box full of crafting materials but since we've been moving around I don't have the right materials for crafts. So I decided to go simple with a wall decor made out of colored paper. With the my materials of colored paper (pink, lavender, and green); glue; tape; scissors and a pencil. I chose a flower decor because I felt like it should be something with a flower. I've been getting this flower theme vibe going on with my projects lately hehe. Process pictures:
